Project D.O.S.E.S. 3.0 Successfully Conducted at Ayan Elementary
Pantukan National High School – Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) learners facilitated the third year of Project D.O.S.E.S. (Developing Opportunity for Scientific Inquiry through Engagement among Students) at Ayan Elementary School on March 4, 2026. The program engaged Grades 3–6 learners in a series of interactive science activities designed to foster curiosity and inquiry.
Participants rotated through four stations: Microscopy, Volcanology, Minute to Win It, and Science Olympiad, each offering hands-on experiences that highlighted key scientific concepts.
The event commenced with opening remarks from Ma’am Sharon Rose C. Sapine, Master Teacher in Science, followed by an opening salvo from Grade 8 STE learners. A robotics demonstration featuring Maqueen Plus the robot—facilitated by selected Grade 9 and 10 STE learners—captivated the audience with line tracing and obstacle avoidance activities. The program also featured a Science Jingle by Grade 9 STE learners and motivational words from Ma’am Jennifer J. Caballero, School Principal of Ayan ES.
Closing remarks were delivered by Ma’am Gaynisa Chavez, STE Program Focal Person, and the program concluded with a community dance led by Grade 10 STE learners.
Pantukan NHS extends its gratitude to Ma’am Corazon D. Salientes, Principal, for her support; to Ma’am Jennifer J. Caballero for warmly welcoming the team; and to Sir Emmanuel B. Clarion, Education Program Supervisor in Science, for his guidance and support of the project.
Project D.O.S.E.S. 3.0 once again proved to be a meaningful opportunity for learners to engage in scientific inquiry, collaboration, and discovery.
