GOVERNMENT IMPOSES HIGHER FIT-ALL CHARGE ON POWER CONSUMERS

The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has granted provisional authority to the state-run National Transmission Corp. (TransCo) to implement a higher Feed-in Tariff Allowance (FIT-All) charge starting this month.

FIT-All, which is charged to all on-grid electricity consumers to fund incentives for renewable energy projects, will increase to P0.3359 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) from the current P0.2011 per kWh.

The increase stems from an adjustment in the working capital allowance proposed by TransCo after the FIT-All Fund faced insufficient liquidity to meet its funding requirements.

As a result, households consuming 500 kWh of electricity per month are expected to pay about P168 in FIT-All charges alone. | via Brix Lelis

Grateful to have been part of the 3 Day - Beyond the Build workshop.🫡🫡

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers, speakers, and everyone involved for sharing valuable insights and practical learnings that go beyond simply building a business. This experience reinforced the importance of strong leadership, a clear vision, effective systems, and investing in people.

As we continue to grow our solar business, I’m excited to apply these learnings to strengthen our team, improve how we work together, and build a company culture that creates a lasting impact, not only for our customers, but also for every member of our organization.
