Duties and Responsibilities:

- Estimate / forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
- Prepare tender documents, budgets, bill of materials/quantities and other documentation
- Tracks changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusts budget projections accordingly
- Initiates subcontractor bidding to undertake the various works in the construction project
- Conducts site inspection to check work accomplishment and recommends payment to subcontractors
- Liaise with client and other professionals involved in the project construction
- Generate cost reports

> Prepares the project's detailed cost estimate, cash flow statement and sanitary works schedule as required prior to the start of construction activities.
> Monitors and inspects plumbing/sanitary work construction activities of the sanitary works contractor.
> Inspects materials to be need, ensuring conformance to brand and specifications set by project owner, conducts and witness materials testing, rejecting substandard materials.
> Prepares and assess the daily, weekly and monthly accomplishments reports and submits the same to the project manager.
> Communicates the decisions and instructions of management to the sanitary works contractor during weekly coordination meetings.
> Prepares the project's detailed cost estimate, cash flow statement and sanitary works schedule as required prior to the start of construction activities.
> Reviews and updates on a weekly basis the actual work accomplishment versus the project schedule and budget, recommends adjustments when needed

> Reports to project management material defects and issues prior to use or installation at the assigned construction project
> Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC Reports
> Responsible for QA/QC documentation of the project including certificates, calibration test results, inspection requests, compliance report, site instruction/observation, and others
> Witness materials testing of ongoing and prospective suppliers

Manage the company’s financial well-being by establishing systems and procedures, preparing various financial reports and monitoring the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department.

Assign responsibilities and direct staff to ensure accounting compliance and accuracy.

Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department:
> month and year-end process
> accounts payable/receivable
> cash receipts
> general ledger
> budgeting
> cash forecasting
> revenue and expenditure variance analysis
> capital assets reconciliations
> Payroll

Provide training to accounting staff regarding existing practices and new legislation/compliance issues.

Analyze accounting data and prepare financial statements.

Coordinate annual audits and enforce proper Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Attend training to be updated with latest accounting trends, regulation and legislation.

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and procedures.

Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheets, profit/loss statements, etc.
