: Advancing Critical Flood Mitigation Infrastructure
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the inspection of the rehabilitation works at the Sunog Apog Pumping Station in Manila, highlighting ongoing efforts to strengthen operational readiness and flood resilience ahead of the rainy season.
The walkthrough showcased key infrastructure and operational improvements across the facility, including upgraded pumping systems, rehabilitated control facilities, discharge operations, and dredging activities designed to improve flood response efficiency for surrounding Metro Manila communities.
Joining the inspection were DPWH Secretary Vivencio B. Dizon, MMDA Chairman Don Artes, Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, alongside representatives from Prime Infra, LeBron Construction, PrimeBMD, and project stakeholders, reflecting continued collaboration in delivering reliable and resilient infrastructure solutions for Filipino communities.
