IEMOP at the 3rd Philippine Powerplant Energy Summit 2026

The Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP) participated in the 3rd Philippine Powerplant Energy Summit, held on October 21–22, 2026, at City of Dreams Manila, joining energy industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders in discussions on the evolving Philippine power sector.

Representing IEMOP, Engr. Katrina A. Garcia-Amuyot, Senior Manager for Trading Operations – Metering Division, delivered a presentation titled “Philippine Power Market Outlook 2026: Demand Growth, Supply Gaps and Investment Opportunities.” Her presentation provided insights into the country's electricity market outlook, highlighting key developments, emerging challenges, and opportunities supporting the sector's continued growth.

Beyond the presentation, the summit provided an opportunity for IEMOP representatives to engage with fellow industry professionals, exchange perspectives, and strengthen connections across the energy sector.
