UN agency Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) calls on increased use of geothermal energy in a recent report released this week. EPI has successfully completed test drills for its Montelago goethermal project in Mindoro. Tests show that the geothermal reservoir wells can indeed produce at least 40MW. CFSI has worked with EPI on the social development aspect of this project.

EMERGING POWER, Inc. (EPI) said it confirmed a geothermal resource of up to 40 megawatts (MW) at its concession site in Oriental Mindoro.
