On January 20, 1920, the Hacienda de Mandaloyon, a vast 4,033-hectare estate spanning what is now Mandaluyong, San Juan, Pasig, and Quezon City, was acquired from the Augustian Order by Dr. Frank Dudley and Don Francisco Ortigas. That single acquisition became the foundation of the communities, landmarks, and legacies that Ortigas Land has built over the past 95 years.
