How do you make a home private when it faces a busy street?
A family in Quezon City wanted privacy, but they didn't want their home to feel closed in.
They wanted natural light, fresh air, greenery, and a pool that the family could actually enjoy every day.
Instead of simply building a solid wall, the design uses layers of privacy.
A woven concrete screen filters views from the street while allowing light and air to pass through. Timber-tone screens provide additional shade and privacy. At the heart of the home, the lap pool wraps around a sculptural tree, bringing landscape into the center of everyday family life.
The result is a home that feels protected without feeling isolated.
