Furthering President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of a more sustainable, secure, and resilient energy future for the Philippines, we celebrate a PROUDLY PINOY milestone that demonstrates how Filipino industries can embrace innovation while advancing the clean energy transition.

Among the landmark achievements are the NING*NING Solar Project, the Philippines’ first grid-connected, utility-scale solar rooftop project in a socialized housing community, with a 6.55 MWp capacity across 1,986 homes, and the Carmen Copper Floating Solar Project, the Philippines’ first megawatt-scale floating solar facility, with a 4.996 MW capacity.

Together, these milestones reinforce the Philippines' position at the forefront of clean energy innovation, strengthening the country's energy security, attracting quality investments, and delivering lasting benefits to every Filipino.

Thank you to Architecture for featuring the NING*NING Solar Rooftop Project, an initiative that demonstrates how renewable energy can be integrated into socialized housing to create long-term value for communities.

We hope this story inspires more conversations about the possibilities of clean energy and sustainable development in the Philippines.

LOOK: In Naic, Cavite Philippines, nearly 2,000 socialized housing units now generate clean electricity through a 6.55-megawatt grid-connected rooftop solar system without using farmland or displacing livelihoods.

The project is expected to cut over 6,000 metric tons of CO₂ annually, while reinvesting part of its revenue into roof repairs, street lighting, waste management, shared solar facilities, and community training.

Developed by Solaris, Raemulan Lands, and their partners, the NING*NING 6.55-MW Solar Rooftop Project was recognized by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as the world's first utility-scale, grid-connected solar project integrated into a socialized housing community proving that affordable housing can also help power the nation.

As part of the ongoing Community Assurance Support (CAS) program, Jin Navitas Solaris Inc. has turned over a new set of community support assets to the Pasinaya Homes Prime Central community.

The initiative, undertaken in partnership with the Joy Nostalg Foundation and Extraordinary Enclaves, was witnessed by representatives from the Department of Energy and the Pag-IBIG Fund.

Through the CAS, SOLARIS continues to support initiatives that enhance safety, improve mobility, and uplift the daily lives of the communities it serves, alongside its mission of delivering renewable energy solutions that power sustainable community development.

Bayanihan for better classrooms! ☀️

SOLARIS joined Patricio Alcantara Memorial Elementary School for Brigada Eskwela 2026.

As part of our support, SOLARIS donated gallons of paint for the maintenance of school facilities and signed the Brigada Eskwela Commitment Board.

Through this simple act, we hope to help create a cleaner and more inspiring learning space for Ajuy learners.

Meet EARTHLIGHT*, SOLARIS’ ground-mounted solar project brand.

Together with our NING*NING rooftop solar solutions, EARTHLIGHT* expands ways to use the power of the sun. Our ground-mounted solar projects focus development on un-irrigated and less productive lands to improve its economic value for the land owners, community, and the LGU, which also enables renewable energy generation at a larger scale.

EARTHLIGHT* begins in Panay with the 62MWp Ajuy Solar Power Project in Ajuy, Iloilo, marking the start of SOLARIS’ pipeline of ground-mounted solar projects.
