Today is the 3rd day of heavy rains and flooding. If you are in some place where there is no electricity, remember that your BYD DMi such as the Sealion 6, Seal 5, Shark DMO and Sealion 5 have V2L technology. Meaning, you can use your BYD as a power generator.

You can charge your mobile phones and stay updated with the news and remain in-touch with loved ones.

Different models have different max output. For instance, the SL6 can provide you 3,850 watts max. But it's safe to assume they all can provide you 2,000 watts.

That means, you can brew your favorite coffee beans. Cook with your microwave oven. Boil water with your electric kettle. Etc.

You can also be a kind neighbor. Someone might need help with his medical equipment.

What if your SOC goes low and you run out of juice? Your ICE will kick in at 25% SOC, and start charging your battery. As long as you have fuel, you just keep going.
