In reference to Proclamation No. 1189 issued by the Office of the President declaring March 20, 2026 (Friday) as a Regular Holiday nationwide in observance of Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan), the Compressed Workweek Arrangement from March 16 to March 19, 2026 is temporarily suspended.

During this period, the regional and provincial offices’ operations will follow the regular work schedule of eight (8) hours per day.

The Compressed Workweek Arrangement will resume on March 23, 2026.

TESDA Deputy Director General Rosanna A. Urdaneta, who also serves as the agency's GAD Focal Point System Executive Committee Chairperson, emphasized that society cannot truly progress if women are left behind.

In her message, DDG Urdaneta highlighted the spirit of the babaylan in pre-colonial Philippines, leaders, healers, and guardians of community welfare, as a model of leadership that must be lived out in TVET today. According to her, TESDA not only teaches skills but also opens doors and transforms lives, enabling Filipinos to earn with dignity and respect.

With this, TESDA continues to promote safe, inclusive, and accessible training spaces where everyone has the chance to learn, grow, and succeed. When skills development is open to all, more Filipinos can turn training into real opportunities for work and progress.
