Ilang kWh ba talaga ginagamit mo per day? (QC Traffic Edition 😅)

Real-world sample: QC to Makati (~18KM). Sa GAC Aion UT (42.12 kWh / ~420KM range), around ~20KM ang nababawas sa range—normal dahil sa traffic.

Estimated consumption: ~2.0 kWh lang per trip

Round trip: ~4.0 kWh/day

Sa ₱13.8/kWh ≈ ~₱55/day lang!

Tipid sa traffic, smooth drive and literally mas mura pa sa commute 😅

EV Safety Features in Flood Conditions

👉 Sealed battery pack (IP67/IP68)
Most EV batteries are dust-tight and water-resistant. Example: IP67 = kayang ma-submerge ~1 meter for 30 mins (lab-tested conditions).

👉 Automatic high-voltage shutoff
Kapag may fault or water intrusion detected, the system isolates the battery to prevent electric shock.

👉 No air intake / no combustion engine
Walang engine na hihigop ng tubig → iwas “hydrolock,” which is common sa ICE.

👉 Fully insulated high-voltage lines
Color-coded (orange) and heavily shielded—designed to prevent exposure kahit basa ang paligid.

👉 Low center of gravity
Battery sa ilalim = mas stable sa flowing water compared sa top-heavy vehicles.

Bottom line:
EVs are engineered with built-in electrical safety systems that make them surprisingly resilient in water—but just like ICE cars, they are NOT meant for deep flooding.

❌ MYTH!

Akala ng marami hanggang city lang ang EV—but that’s outdated thinking 😅

👉 FACT:
Kayang-kaya ng EV ang long drives basta may tamang planning.

✔️ May fast chargers na sa highways
✔️ May apps para makita charging stations
✔️ Kayang mag 300–500 km per charge (depende sa model)

EV MYTH #3: “Mas mabilis mapudpod ang gulong ng EV dahil mabigat ito.”

MYTH… but not the full story!

FACT CHECK:
Oo, mas mabigat ang EV dahil sa battery — pero ang real reason ay instant torque. Isang tapak mo pa lang, full power agad kaya mas stress sa gulong 😅

What most people don’t know:
EV tires are specially designed
– mas matibay ang compound
– reinforced ang sidewalls
– optimized for efficiency & less noise

Kung smooth ka mag-drive, halos same lang ang tire life vs ICE

Pero kung gigil sa arangkada, kahit ICE pa yan… mabilis mapudpod 😏
