Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Training is a mandatory 40-hour course required for safety officers working at construction sites, as mandated by Section 22 of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry under Department Order No. 252, series of 2025, which implements Republic Act No. 11058, โAn Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).โ
This training aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills needed to conduct safety audits, perform hazard and risk assessments in the construction industry, recommend appropriate control measures, and develop and implement effective OSH policies and programs.
