GOD teaches the Farmer how to farm.

Gene 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life, [I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
• The first job God gave to man was farming.
• There is a lot more potential for food production than what we now realize. According to verse 29, there are a lot of plants and trees producing food than what we now are using. We need more George Washington Carvers to discover how these plants and trees can be used for food.
• Are there plants that we have overlooked for animal feed?
• Are there ways we can utilize weeds that grow in abundance for a good use?
• Are all plants that we call weeds part of the curse or with some of them is God using their abundance to get our attention to use them?
• There are also medical uses of plants for people and animals.

Chicken or Egg? Reposting from OPD:
The people who say "changing the system will not work if we still have the same people" DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ABOUT HUMAN NATURE!

When Filipinos come to Singapore, where the SYSTEM IS STRICT, Filipinos end up becoming law-abiding and disciplined. Those who don't follow the rules get caught, punished, and are thus WEEDED OUT.

It's a simple concept. And it's all found in this document where the facts I gathered for it span 20 years of research and intense observation on my part:

SO THAT THE PUBLIC MAY KNOW.

Posted by: Brenda Flake

The public must be informed about how the NPA uses environment concerns for their benefit. With the help of media and sectors of the Church the “NPA is trying to portray itself as a group of ecological avengers that punishes polluters and protects the local environment.”

Hookway gives as an example how in October, NPA guerrillas raided three mining sites in Mindanao, destroying valuable mining equipment and suspending operations at the Philippines’ single largest nickel-producing mine in what they described at the time as an act of retribution.

The rebels so far this year have extorted at least P300 million, or nearly $7 million, in revolutionary taxes. That compares with about one billion pesos last year, when the rebels managed to extort vast sums from candidates campaigning in national elections according to the report.

I read an article that the Aquino administration’s displeasure with the Supreme Court may have had something to do with its decision on his Executive Order No. 1. (I think Hacienda Luisita is the real bone of contention!).

NEW DISASTER TO HIT CAGAYAN DE ORO, ILIGAN?
By: Melanio Lazo Maurecio Jr.

Another disaster worse than that given by Sendong is about to strike Cagayan De Oro City and Iligan City once again---and this could kill much more than the 1,100 or so people who perished in the Sendong floods. What is this? This is the tragedy of millions of donations and relief goods not reaching the true victims, either because they were pocketed, or left rotting in warehouses.

To prevent this, the Department of Social Welfare and Development must make a public inventory of how much has been given at present by all donors, foreign or local, and then, publicly account likewise where these donations went, who received them, and how they were distributed. Even now, people are complaining that no relief goods or assistance are given to them, even if news headlines are full of stories of million dollar donations.
