We all have our own highways and byways in life. We are all unique in our ways. But there are times there are people in our lives who try to influence us to do something that can impact our road in life, whether it be a good impact or a bad effect. In our lives, we should not let others determine where we go in life. We should be the captains of our own ships. It is us who charts our course through the rivers of life.

As the Long test arrives, we must always be reminded that with God, we can excel our exams and our first grading.

To be wise is to apply our knowledge in our everyday lives. But wisdom comes only from the Lord, so how can we be guided?

Well we can read the Bible and here are some reasons why

1. Read and know the Bible well to be approved by God
2. Because it prevents wrong theology and false teaching
3. Because the truth in it never changes
4. To be prepared for life

Have you ever wondered how miniscule we are as compared to how astronomically large the universe is? And how this entire universe started as? Thinking on these things can make us wonder that there should be someone or something that started all of this. Someone with great power that can creat such majestic creation. That Person would also be having great knowledge that He knows where to perfectly place everything and why.
Pondering on such things will be bounded by our limited knowledge. But the supreme being who was behind all of this is our God. If He was the omniscient and omnipotent one who created such great things, why not lean on his power and let him guide you in your life? So when you feel lost with no direction to go, you can ask God to help you.

When life knocks you down, roll over and look at the stars.

Have you ever felt like you can no longer go on? Like you have so much going on that there isn't enough time anymore? or do you simply feel like you just can't?

Well, the truth is, at one point in life, you will be dumped with so much workload and you just can't do anything about it except to accomplish them. The feeling while doing those dreadful things are just sad.

BUT! it's not the huge workload that is the problem, it's the attitude towards that pile of work. The best way to deal with it is with hope. Look at the night sky and see how God made each star, each celestial being if you see them. He did all that in one day.

If God can do a universe of stars, surely we can get through our struggles and trials when we put our hope and faith in Christ.

Life is like a rollercoaster that goes down when it goes up and goes up when it goes down. Simply, it is a sequence with both negative events and positive events at the same time. One cannot be happy all the time, nor one cannot see success in life all the time. However, how those moments of life affect you are depended on how you see and live life. If you are person who takes all the hardship and bad events in life negatively, those moments will be painful and depressing. However, if you can take those hardships with light heartedly, the experience of going through it will not be as difficult. So, whenever you experience something painful in life, take it easy and treat it as just one, small event of your life that is going to make you grow and stronger. Remember, stars can't shine without darkness and you cannot shine without the hardships and pains.

Having a bad day? Well, here is word of encouragement; you don't need people to call you smart or people to appreciate you. Just be who you are, be someone who is wise in all things. Being smart is just the common want everyone looks up to; however, they fail to see how much being wise is better than being smart. As what in Daniel 12:3 says : "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens." So next time people try to discourage you just because you aren't as bright as them, always keep in mind that His wisdom weighs greater than any human knowledge.

Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon.

We’ve all heard that saying about ‘the sky’s the limit.’ We all know that it means that there is no limitation.

But what about space? The celestial bodies? Specifically the moon 🌙

Fun fact:
The moon is our natural satellite and it’s gravity pulls on Earth's oceans. High tide aligns with the moon as Earth spins underneath. Another high tide occurs on the opposite side of the planet because gravity pulls Earth toward the moon more than it pulls the water.

So when all hope seems lost, look to God who made the heavens. The sky isn’t the limit, you may think it could be the moon, but with God, there is no limit.

Do you feel that you are just not enough? Like you are so close to accomplishing your goal but just can't seem to finish it no matter how hard you try?

It is alright, experiencing this just means that God doesn't want to place you in the next step yet before he can fully prepare you. He trains you and build you up slowly but perfectly.

God wants you to become better than who you are right now so that when he lets you go out into the world, you will be the best you can be, prepared to go through anything with His help.
