attention for those who will attend the studio tour at GMA on tuesday, this is the format for your individual reaction paper for acoustics lab:
CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION
-history of broadcasting (AM FM TV)
-company profile/history
CHAPTER 2 NARRATIVE OBSERVATION
-talk about what happened during the trip (your personal observation)
-do this in a chronological manner
CHAPTER 3 PERSONAL REFLECTION
-answer the following questions in paragraph form (minimum 50 words each)
1. cite all acoustic treatments made in the studios during the tour.
2. explain the flow of recording, storing, retrieval and broadcasting of taped programming.
3. enumerate and explain the processes during live broadcast.
4. does the station (AM/FM/TV) follow broadcasting standards (cite examples)
5. was the trip beneficial to your learning? expound.
6. what new idea/information were you most interested in?
7. what would you recommend to future studio tours?
*NOTE:
format is ARIAL, 11, double spaced, 1 inch margin, short bond paper. the whole document should be no less than 10 pages. prepare a front page (not included in the 10 page count). have your paper filed in black folder with slider and submitted not later than 7:00pm tuesday, feb 20, 2018. failure to do so would mean failure in the final exam. please be punctual.
