𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Department conducted its 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐔𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 on the morning of May 17, 2026, participated in by FCF Minerals Corporation employees.

This event focused on keeping the environment clean to help prevent vector-borne diseases, especially Dengue and Chikungunya - showing the company’s strong commitment to a safer workplace and a cleaner environment.

𝗙𝗖𝗙 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗙𝗠𝗥𝗗𝗣 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗗𝗠𝗣 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀

The Community Relations Office (CRO) of FCF Minerals Corporation has begun the rollout of its Final Mine Rehabilitation and Decommissioning Plan (FMRDP) framework to its adjacent and non-adjacent barangays benefiting from the company’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP).

The information drive commenced on May 5, 2025, during the barangay council session in Calaocan, Quezon, followed by sessions on May 6, at the barangay councils of Maasin, Quezon, and Tadji, Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya.

The activity was spearheaded by Ms. Rodalyn Arcebal, CRO Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Supervisor, together with Ms. Agnes Rosales, CRO Manager, and Mr. Renz Angelo Parreño, Senior Environment Monitoring Officer from the Mine Rehabilitation and Enhancement Office (MEPEO), who responded to queries and concerns raised by the barangay councils.

The FMRD framework, provided by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau - Regional Office No. 02 (MGB-R02), aims to deepen stakeholders’ understanding of the company’s mine rehabilitation and decommissioning commitments, including how the plan will be implemented, who will be involved, where the budget will come from, and how long the implementation will take.
Through this initiative, FCF Minerals Corporation reaffirms its commitment to responsible mining, environmental compliance, and transparent stakeholder engagement.

The information drive will continue until June 2026, covering other SDMP barangays during their scheduled barangay council sessions.

𝗙𝗖𝗙 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗖𝗠𝗖 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗗𝗠𝗣 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁

The Community Relations Office (CRO) of FCF Minerals Corporation warmly welcomed 18 personnel from the CRO team and one MLGU Representative of Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company (LCMC), which operates in Mankayan, Benguet, during a benchmarking visit on May 7, 2026.

The benchmarking aimed to provide the LCMC team with a firsthand look at the company’s best practices, strategies, and innovations in the implementation of its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP).

Among the areas visited were the Runruno Livelihood Center, which houses the loom weaving and ginger processing livelihood projects; Runo Sewing Services; the Community Learning Center (CLC); and the Innovative Runruno Livelihood Integrating Sustainable Environment (IRISE) project, which produces hollow-blocks and eco-bricks from shredded plastic waste. The team also visited the newly constructed Barangay Hall and Covered Court of BLGU Runruno, both funded through the company's SDMP.
As part of the visit, the LCMC team also met with Hon. Anabelle Binwag, Municipal Mayor of Quezon, and Engr. Dominador Gecobe, Municipal Engineer and member of the SDMP Technical Working Group (TWG). Their valuable insights provided the visitors with a deeper understanding of the importance of aligning development plans with sustainable income generating projects to strengthen SDMP implementation and ensure sustainability beyond mining operations.

Ms. Maria Consuelo C. Odoño, ComRel Head of LCMC, commended the strong relationship between FCF employees and stakeholders, as well as the company’s effective SDMP implementation. She also recognized the role of the SDMP - TWG as one of the strategies they hope to replicate in their own department.

The benchmarking concluded at the Information Center Aurora, where the participants expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and the opportunity to gain meaningful insights and practical ideas, particularly in strengthening livelihood programs under their own SDMP.

𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤: The Runruno Friends of Highland Group Union (RFHG) led by their president Mr. Joey Dulnuan and some members, along with FCF Minerals Corporation HR Manager Mr. Joebert Somosot, received ₱1,500,000.00 livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Nueva Vizcaya Field Office, headed by Ms. Elizabeth U. Martinez, Provincial Director during the 124th Labor Day Celebration on May 1, 2026, at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center, Capitol Compound, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The RFHG is among the recipients of livelihood assistance in Nueva Vizcaya, often supported under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP).

Additionally, FCF Minerals also received a certificate of appreciation for its unwavering support and assistance extended to the DOLE Nueva Vizcaya Field Office, particularly in the DILP awarding.
Atty. Jose "Jing" Gambito, the provincial governor of Nueva Vizcaya, graced the 124th Labor Day celebration. In his message, he promised his support to all Novo Vizcayano workers especially in the informal sectors in the hope that the necessary assistance will be provided to the workers in need.
