AA Biotek Facilitates Turnover of Heirloom Sorghum SPV-22 Seeds to DMMMSU-NLUC
San Fernando City, La Union, On April 29, 2026, AA Biotek Enterprises OPC, represented by its Head of Operations, Ronaldo B. Planilla, formally facilitated the turnover of Heirloom Sorghum SPV-22 seeds to the College of Graduate Studies, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - North La Union Campus (DMMMSU-NLUC).
The seeds were officially received by Dr. Analyn V. Sagun, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, DMMMSU-NLUC, as part of an ongoing academic research collaboration supporting sustainable and organic agriculture initiatives.
The Heirloom Sorghum SPV-22 seeds were generously provided by the Institute of Plant Breeding (IPB), College of Agriculture and Food Science, University of the Philippines Los BaΓ±os (UPLB), through the support and coordination of Maβam Ayn Kristina M. Beltran, University Researcher I.
AA Biotek also gives special mention to Michael Alcasid of CAFS/ICROPS, UPLB, for his support in his assistance.
This turnover marks another meaningful step in strengthening the partnership among AA Biotek Enterprises OPC, DMMMSU-NLUC College of Graduate Studies, and IPB-UPLB, with the shared goal of advancing science-based agricultural research for heirloom crop conservation, and local field implementation.
