LSPU ATBI Empowers Quezon’s LSA Farm Managers at OUAN’s 38th Anniversary

As a highlight of OUAN’s The Farm Resort’s (OUANs) 38th Founding Anniversary, the DOST-PCAARRD-LSPU ATBI participated in a high-level forum with Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA) farm owners and managers on March 31, 2026, in Lucena City.

Guided by the theme "Agribusiness: Dunong sa Pagnenegosyo, Husay sa Pagbubukid," the event served as a powerful synergy of expertise and passion aimed at elevating the local farming community.

The forum created a unique space for exchanging policy-driven strategies and practical operational wisdom. It successfully united provincial expertise from the:
• Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
• Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
• Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)
By bringing these agencies together with the real-world experience of Quezon’s LSA managers, the event provided a holistic roadmap for modernizing the agricultural sector.

ATBI Manager, Ms Mary Ann Barile and SLSU-TBI Science Research Specialist, Mr. Giehway R. Liwanag served as resource persons in this invaluable talk among farms representatives. Their involvement highlights a shared mission to provide the technical mentorship and innovation needed to transform traditional farming into sustainable, modern agribusinesses.
Special recognition goes to the SLSU Information and Communications Office (ICO) for their excellent documentation and for producing the AVP that captured the spirit of this collaboration.

Together, we are proving that when we combine "Dunong" (knowledge) with "Husay" (skill), we secure a stronger future for our farmers.
