Introducing The Light Between โ€” the proposed renovation and extension of the Alaurin Residence in Bibincahan, Sorsogon City.

Situated within one of the city's most densely populated neighborhoods, this project presented a unique architectural challengeโ€”how do you create a home that feels open, bright, and breathable when surrounded by neighboring structures?
Our solution was to rethink the existing residence through a modern faรงade transformation and a carefully planned extension that maximizes natural light, ventilation, and spatial flow. A double-volume living area, strategically placed openings, and an internal light court allow daylight to pe*****te deep into the home, creating a sense of openness despite the compact urban setting.

Rather than simply adding more space, the design redefines how the family experiences their homeโ€”transforming an ordinary city residence into a contemporary sanctuary that feels connected to light, nature, and everyday living.

At Viscentric, we believe that great architecture is not measured by the size of a property, but by how thoughtfully every square meter is designed.

From structural works to wall plastering, every stage reflects the dedication, craftsmanship, and teamwork behind this project. During our recent site inspection, we witnessed another exciting milestone as the rest house gradually comes to life.

The initial turnover walkthrough of the Lico Residence has been completed with our client.

Like any project, the journey came with both accomplishments and challenges along the way. These experiences have provided valuable lessons that help us grow, improve our processes, and continue delivering better results in every project we undertake.

While a few minor adjustments and finishing touches remain, the project is now nearing completion, and we are grateful for the trust and collaboration that made this milestone possible.
