Finally got the time to design a sumobot! 🤘I’ve been testing a couple of sensors - a Sharp IR sensor with triangulation and a ToF.
- ToF has longer range (~2meters) but suffers detecting angled surfaces.
- Sharp IR sensor on the other hand only has 50cm detection range but much more accurate due to triangulation tech.
Both have the same refresh rate around 20-40ms. To all pros out there, any advice for us on choosing a sensor? 🤔
