Introducing Manta Equities, Inc.
Manta Equities, Inc. is a real estate development company established in 1990 by the founder of Nickel Asia Corporation, one of the country's largest natural resources development companies. The Zamora family-led group of which Manta Equities is a part is a significant player in the Philippine business landscape, with interests in a variety of sectors which began with nickel ore mining in 1969 and expanded to property development, education, renewable power generation, and food and beverage:
> Renewable energy – through Emerging Power, Inc., Manta Group aims to become a significant power producer of exclusively renewable energy from solar, wind, and geothermal sources;
> Education – Manta Group offers Information Technology courses and programs through Informatics institutes and colleges and CAL (Computer Assisted Learning) programs throughout the country.
> Food and Beverage – Manta Group is the master franchisee of Pepper Lunch in the Philippines. It also operates a number of other restaurant brands including a Japanese Café and franchised quick service restaurants.
Guided by a deep commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability, Manta Group founded Manta Foundation as a channel for its various long-term CSR projects, among which are the education of students enrolled in Mano Amiga Academy, a K-12 school providing high-quality education to lower-income communities, and college scholarship grants for deserving children of the group’s employees.
Among the most exciting of Manta Group’s diversified interests are its premium office developments in Taguig:
Manta Equities’ flagship development is NAC Tower, located along 32nd Avenue in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. A Grade-A office building with a distinctive and eye-catching exterior design, NAC Tower is a premium office address within BGC and home to such corporate tenants as the Aboitiz Group, Sumitomo, Mitsui, Sojitz, the Oman Embassy and Nickel Asia Corporation itself.
Manta Equities’ newest project, Manta Corporate Plaza, will rise in the new master-planned Ayala Land commercial district of Arca South in Taguig, five kilometers south of BGC.
Manta Equities is headed by Patricia Zamora Riingen, who sits as President of Manta Equities and Manta Foundation, and a Board of Director for Nickel Asia Corporation and Emerging Power, Inc.
