And that's a wrap on the 18th Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) Week Celebration! 🎉

We’re beyond proud to cap off a week of learning and collaboration with some incredible wins for the MIMAROPA Health Research and Development Consortium (MHRDC).

The closing and awarding ceremony was a triumphant moment for our team:

A huge congratulations to Engr. Dayne N. Fradejas of Romblon State University for winning 1st place in the Oral Research Presentation Competition! His research on "Optimizing Polyp Detection in Colonoscopy using Deep Learning for Adenoma-Carcinoma Sequence Identification" is a testament to the innovative and impactful work being done in our region.

The celebration didn't stop there! Our Consortium Poster, designed and presented by Ms. Danielle Marie Martos, was voted the People's Choice award! A big thank you to everyone who showed their support—this award is for all of us.

These victories highlight the dedication, talent, and collaborative spirit that define the MHRDC. Congratulations again to our champions! We're already looking forward to next year.

Here's to Advancing Health Research and Development, Transforming Lives!

And the momentum continues!

Day two of the 18th Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) week was a whirlwind of brilliant minds and groundbreaking ideas.

Our MHRDC representatives truly made their mark, showcasing the innovative spirit of our consortium.

Here's a look at our highlights from today:

Ms. Lea Camangeg of Palawan State University took the stage for the 3-Minute Pitch to Policymakers Competition, presenting her research on "HERBAL EXTRACTS FROM PALAWAN FOR BIOACTIVITY AND TOXICITY ASSAYS."

Engr. Dayne N. Fradejas of Romblon State University gave a compelling presentation on "Optimizing Polyp Detection in Colonoscopy using Deep Learning for Adenoma-Carcinoma Sequence Identification" in the Oral Research Presentation Competition.

Engr. Alvin John Brecia proudly presented his research poster on "Hulas-Lunas Device: Design and Development of a Portable Iontophoresis for Hyperhidrosis" in the Research Poster Contest.

Our consortium's poster was beautifully presented by Ms. Danielle Marie Martos in the Consortium Poster Competition, highlighting our collaborative vision.

Mr. Jenifer Alcorano represented MHRDC with pride at the RUC meeting, fostering connections with other consortiums.

We're so proud of our team's hard work and dedication! Let's keep the energy high for the rest of the week.
