Looking back on those nine months in the UNDP SDG Venture Scaler programme, one thing stands out clearly: the transition underway isn’t only about energy systems. Expectations around accountability, sustainability, and long-term value creation are changing too.

Selected from more than 200 applicants across Southeast Asia, we came away with more than an award. We built an Impact Management and Monitoring (IMM) Framework that now shapes how we assess projects, measure outcomes, and engage with partners and investors across the ASEAN region.

Accountability around impact is becoming increasingly important across investment, partnerships, and policy. The organisations building these systems today will be better positioned as those expectations continue to evolve.
