The 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐏𝐇 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 is a one-stop platform where founders, enablers, partners, and stakeholders can register and verify startups, obtain certification for participation in government procurement opportunities, and access startup news, resources, programs, and ecosystem events from across the Philippines.

DTI Region VI, through its Provincial Offices, is bringing the Moonshot TNK ASPIRE Startup Bootcamp to its covered provinces under the 2026 Moonshot TNK Startup Development Program.

ASPIRE, or Activating Startups in Provinces through Innovation, Resources, and Enterprise Development, is a key component of the program and serves as a startup pipeline generation activity aimed at identifying, capacitating, and preparing province-based startups, student entrepreneurs, potential startup founders with innovation-driven solutions, startup-oriented MSMEs, and early-stage enterprises for mentorship, pitching, commercialization, and ecosystem support.

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - The fourth day of TRAIN 2026: AI & Innovation Networking Week brought together innovators, startup founders, mentors, investors, and aspiring entrepreneurs to explore how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are shaping the next generation of businesses.

The morning plenary featured meaningful conversations on startup ecosystems, regional innovation pathways, and investment readiness, highlighting the opportunities and challenges in building a thriving innovation landscape across the country.

Serving as keynote speaker, Engr. Jovel V. Young, Project Leader of BUGLAS NIR, presented "BUGLAS NIR and the Startup Ecosystem of the Newest Region in the Philippines," sharing insights into the emerging startup ecosystem of the Negros Island Region (NIR) and the collaborative efforts shaping its growth.

Engr. Young also represented the regional consortium as part of the panel discussion, joining fellow ecosystem leaders in exploring the intersections of startups, research, green entrepreneurship, and youth innovation—key drivers in creating a more inclusive and sustainable future for regional development.

The morning session also set the stage for the much-anticipated DASIG AI Pitching Competition, with participants and innovators preparing to showcase their ideas and AI-powered solutions in the afternoon session.

Through its active participation in TRAIN 2026, BUGLAS NIR continues to amplify the voice of the Negros Island Region in the national innovation landscape, connecting its growing startup ecosystem with opportunities, partnerships, and conversations that can turn bold ideas into transformative ventures.

𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - BUGLAS NIR joined the 4th Kabankalan City ICT Summit, held at the St. Columban Arts Center of Kabankalan Catholic College, Inc., bringing the conversation on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship closer to students and young innovators in Kabankalan City.

Serving as a resource speaker, Engr. Jovel V. Young, Project Leader of BUGLAS NIR, introduced the BUGLAS NIR Consortium and highlighted the current startup ecosystem in the Negros Island Region (NIR). His discussion provided students with a glimpse into the growing opportunities available for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators, while emphasizing the importance of collaboration in building a stronger and more inclusive regional startup ecosystem.

The summit gathered hundreds of students from schools and universities across Kabankalan City, creating a dynamic platform for learning, knowledge exchange, and inspiration among the region's future technology and innovation leaders.

Adding to the event's innovation showcase, the BUGLAS NIR Team also participated as one of the exhibitors, introducing the consortium's initiatives and programs designed to support startups, strengthen the innovation ecosystem, foster partnerships, and spread information across the Negros Island Region.

Through engagements like the Kabankalan City ICT Summit, BUGLAS NIR continues to connect with students, innovators, and communities across NIR—helping inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and building pathways toward a more vibrant, collaborative, and innovation-driven startup ecosystem.
