Peak Demand- 12,595MW

12 plants are on outage since May, 2 since April, 3 plants since March, 4 since January, 3 since 2025, 2 since 2024, and 1 plant out since 2019; while 14 plants are running on derated capacities, for a total of 4,242.5MW unavailable to the grid.

The Tayabas-Ilijan 500kV Line and the Dasmarinas-Ilijan 500kV Line were restored on 13 May 2026 at 2:44PM and 4:52PM, respectively. We are waiting for the affected plants to resynchronize back to the grid.

A red alert status is issued when power supply is insufficient to meet consumer demand and the transmission grid’s regulating requirement.

A yellow alert is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid’s contingency requirement.

BATELEC II ADVISORY

Magandang Gabi po sa ating lahat.

Nais naming ipabatid na sa kasalukuyan ay hindi pa normal ang supply ng kuryente sa grid. Maraming planta ang nasa shutdown status, kaya naman numipis ang supply ng kuryente sa kabuuan. Dahil dito, nagpapatupad tayo ng Load Management sa pamamagitan ng Rotational Brownout upang maiwasan ang mas malawakang pagkawala ng kuryente sa ating nasasakupan.

Ibinabalik lamang ang supply kapag mayroon nang kaukulang abiso mula sa NGCP.

Ang sitwasyong ito ay labas sa kontrol ng BATELEC II, kaya naman hinihingi ang malawak na pang-unawa at kooperasyon ng bawat isa.
