The Line Clearing Crew shall perform vegetation, trimming and clearing that hinders with overhead electric power lines and structures, cleaning and maintenance works within assigned areas.

𝗔𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘆𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀?
Mahalaga ang papel ng mga transmission lines dahil ito ang pangunahing daanan kung saan dumadaloy ang malaking bahagi ng enerhiya mula sa mga planta papunta sa grid.

Kapag nag-trip o nawalan ng serbisyo ang mga mahahalagang linyang ito — tulad ng nangyari noong Mayo 13, 2026 sa Tayabas-Ilijan 500 kV Line at Dasmariñas-Ilijan 500 kV Line — nahahadlangan ang maayos na pamamahagi ng kuryente. Nagdudulot ito ng pagkabigat o overload sa ibang linya at nagreresulta sa pagbaba ng antas ng reserve power o nakatabing suplay ng kuryente.

Kapag mas mababa na ang kayang ibigay na suplay kumpara sa aktwal na pangangailangan ng publiko, naglalabas ng babala ang NGCP:

🟡 𝗬𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧: Mababa na ang reserbang suplay ngunit sapat pa rin upang matugunan ang pangangailangan sa normal na kondisyon. Sa ganitong sitwasyon, anumang karagdagang aberya ay maaring humantong sa Red Alert.

🔴 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧: Hindi sapat ang reserve o suplay ng kuryente para sa kasalukuyang demand o kritikal na ang loading ng transmission lines.

DECORP (parts of Dagupan City)
ISELCO I (parts of Isabela)
PENELCO (parts of Bataan)
TARELCO I (parts of Tarlac and Nueva Ecija)
BATELEC I and II (parts of Batangas)
CASURECO III and IV (parts of Camarines Sur)
MERALCO (parts of Metro Manila)

Schedule may be cancelled if system condition improves, such as if actual demand falls below projections.
