Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is to regulate the flow of refrigerant entering the ev***rator according to the cooling load.

It controls the amount of refrigerant based on the ev***rator outlet temperature and pressure to maintain proper superheat.
Main Functions of TXV
Controls refrigerant flow into the ev***rator
Maintains correct ev***rator superheat
Prevents liquid refrigerant from returning to the compressor
Improves cooling efficiency and system performance
Adjusts automatically according to load demand
How TXV Works
The TXV senses the temperature at the ev***rator outlet through a sensing bulb.
When cooling demand increases:
Superheat increases
TXV opens wider
More refrigerant flows into the Ev***rator
When cooling demand decreases:
Superheat decreases
TXV closes slightly
Refrigerant flow is reduced
Refrigeration System Flow
During Operation
1. Compressor
Compresses low-pressure refrigerant v***r into high-pressure high-temperature v***r
Pushes refrigerant through the system
2. Condenser
Releases heat to the surrounding air
Refrigerant changes from hot v***r to high-pressure liquid
3. Filter Drier / Receiver
Removes moisture and contaminants
Stores liquid refrigerant if receiver is installed
4. TXV (Expansion Valve)
Reduces refrigerant pressure suddenly
Meters refrigerant flow into ev***rator
5. Ev***rator
Low-pressure refrigerant absorbs heat from the room or product
Refrigerant ev***rates into v***r
6. Return to Compressor
Low-pressure v***r returns to compressor
Cycle repeats continuously

Basic Operating Principle
High side: Compressor → Condenser → Liquid line
Low side: TXV → Ev***rator → Suction line
The TXV acts as the dividing point between the high-pressure and low-pressure sides of the refrigeration system.
