Last December 3, 2024, three ValMaSciansโ€” Shinna Bernardino, Duke Homer Camon, and Justine Dave Pacle, with their coach, Mrs. Jelly T. Hernaezโ€” were invited to the New World Hotel in Makati for awarding ceremonies after being named among the ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—ฝ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐˜€ out of 1,000 participants in the ๐—ก๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฐ competition. This competition organized by the แดŠแดœษดษชแดส€ แด€แด„แด€แด…แด‡แดส แด๊œฐ ๊œฑแด„ษชแด‡ษดแด„แด‡๊œฑ แด๊œฐ แดœแด‹ส€แด€ษชษดแด‡ (๐•๐”ธ๐•Š๐•Œ), with their international partners like โ„‚๐• ๐•ก๐•–๐•ฃ๐•Ÿ๐•š๐•”๐•ฆ๐•ค ๐”ธ๐•”๐•’๐••๐•–๐•ž๐•ช, highlights the role of satellite images in environmental sciences and climate education. Participation in the said event provided an opportunity for students to create their own research project based on public-free Remote Sensing data, focusing on environmental problems.
