Sewage Treatment Plant Designer
• Create detailed plans, specifications, and opinion of probable costs for water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems.
• Prepare plans and specifications for water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
• Determine appropriate design methods for facility planning, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the owner during design and construction of facilities.
• Perform construction support services including construction management, field inspection work, attending contractor/owner construction meetings, and review of submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
• Attend internal and external conferences and trainings to enhance desired technical and professional skills.
• Opportunity to assist with client relations in the support of proposal preparation.
• Communicates with Project Managers, engineers and design team to complete work efficiently.
• Produce drawings or sketches as required.
• Prepare quantities for cost estimating.
• Perform other designer duties as needed.
• Atleast 5 years of experience as an STP designer.
