Gilgit Baltistan Software Houses Association (GBSHA) is proud to have served as the Outreach Partner for the historic HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup in Gilgit Baltistan. This milestone event brought national and local tech leaders, policymakers, and innovators to the heart of Gilgit-Baltistan for the very first time.
Powered by HBL as Title Sponsor, with strong support from ITCN Asia, USF, AKRSP (in partnership with the Government of Canada), and the local tech community, the meetup marked a significant step toward accelerating digital growth, collaboration, and opportunities for GBโs rising talent.
The session opened with a warm welcome by P@SHA CEC Member Nadia Iqbal, followed by impactful remarks from the Mr. Anees Amin Chairman GBSHA, who emphasized GBโs growing digital momentum and the exceptional potential of its youth and tech entrepreneurs.
Keynote speaker Dr. Sonia Saleem, P@SHA CEC Member and Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Sub-Committee, highlighted the regionโs untapped potential and the importance of building an inclusive, innovation-driven digital ecosystem. P@SHA Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Umair Nizam and USF CEO Ch. Mudassir Naveed shared insights on national integration, connectivity, and empowering GB through improved digital access.
A high-level panel discussion, led by P@SHAโs Laraib Farhat, featured senior representatives from the Government of GB, SIFC, and the national tech industry, exploring the future of GBโs digital economy and strategies to enable youth, freelancers, and startups.
GBSHA deeply appreciates the engagement of HBLโs regional leadership and acknowledges the contributions of the P@SHA Secretariat team who made this event possible.
As an outreach partner, GBSHA is proud to help bridge GBโs talent and businesses with Pakistanโs wider tech ecosystemโstrengthening regional integration and paving the way for a more connected, innovative future for Gilgit-Baltistan.
