we have reached another milestone. The state‑of‑the‑art switchgear system installed at Ganish Substation in Hunza which will significantly enhance the reliability and efficiency of the power supply.
This project was awarded to Ahmad Global Construction and Hussain Ali & Sons for the Construction and Rehabilitation of Transmission and Distribution Networks in Hunza District, Gilgit-Baltistan.
The project involved installing poles and ABC cables to enhance energy transmission efficiency.
This initiative by NPAK aims to reduce line losses, ensuring reliable energy supply to the region.

Hussain Ali and Sons is proud to announce the completion of a 2 MW Solar Power project in Nasirabad, Hunza, marking a significant milestone in the region's renewable energy sector

𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐮𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟐.𝟎𝐌𝐖 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝, 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐳𝐚

Hunza: The test run has now begun for the 2.0-megawatt Nasirabad Solar Power Plant, a major clean energy initiative by the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in Nasirabad, Hunza. Implemented by NPak Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) under AKFED, the project also includes a 1.0-megawatt battery storage system to ensure stable and reliable power supply.

Once fully operational, the plant will provide electricity to approximately 23,400 people, significantly reducing load-shedding in the region. This project follows the successful commissioning of the 1.5MW solar plant in Duiker, Altit, and is part of a broader USD 6 million investment in sustainable energy infrastructure in Gilgit-Baltistan.
