Architect Naveed Aslam’s journey began in May of 1955, with his birth as the son of a carpenter, Haji Karam Din, son of Mian Rehmat Ali, in Lahore. Karam Din belonged to Jhandyala, a small village near Jalandhar, and was based in Amritsar prior to the Partition of 1947. H
aji Karam Din came from a long line of craftsmen who over the centuries helped to create the very architecture of our historical cities that we can still see today. Karam Din’s grandfather was one of the master craftsmen chosen to supervise the construction of the Lansdowne Bridge in modern day Sukkur and after apprenticing under him, Karam Din participated in his formative years in the construction of the African Railways in Kenya under the British Raj. He was fluent in Punjabi, Urdu, English, Swahili and French due to his extensive travels for his work and the cultural learning it brought with it. Haji Karam Din was a father of 6 daughters and 2 sons, of which Naveed Aslam is the younger son. Naveed Aslam spent his formative years in Lahore and grew up very well accustomed to the streets of his home city. Coming as he did from a naturally creative family, with the blood of centuries of craftsmen running through his veins, Naveed Aslam excelled in artistic abilities as a child, and upon reaching maturity, chose the profession of Architecture as the next step in his journey towards fulfilling his creative urge, enrolling in the National College of Arts in Lahore in 1975. After his graduation from the National College of Arts, Lahore, he continued to work with unwavering dedication and expertise, rising steadily to prominence within the architectural realm, and founding Naveed Aslam & Associates in 1985. With nearly four decades of hands-on experience in the field of architecture, he has

and an unyielding commitment towards integrity. Architect Naveed Aslam graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 1979, and since then has steadily established himself amongst the most prominent architects in the country. In his 30 years in the business, he has established a reputation of hard work, patience and professionalism that is widely regarded. Our focus has been towards providing excellence of service in the fields of architecture, engineering, planning and interior design services to our clients. The staff members and associates of the firm hold vast experience in design, supervision and management of both large and small-scale projects and we have a long-term arrangement with various professionals and companies towards providing synergized services for maximum client satisfaction.
