The aesthetic language of the house expresses a harmony between contemporary design vocabulary and a focus on local handcraft. Exhibited through the use of hand made glazed terracotta tiles forming the mosaic floor of the courtyard, as well as the brick facade which is emblematic of local considerations and regional materiality.
The use of brick on the facade and indoors compelled the client to look for a contractor who's skilled in this traditional niche. Markhor boasts a decade of experience delivering intricate, high-quality brickwork across a diverse portfolio of projects where brickwork takes centre stage.
The use of dark metal acts as an accent along with the deep hues of the green marble. The terrazzo walls and flooring finishes poured in situ required a balance between precision and aesthetics and that is where the skilled team of MarkhorCrete came in handy.
This project is especially close to our hearts, and we have poured our heart and soul into bringing the client’s dream and the architect’s vision to life.
