Centre for Advanced Studies in Renewable Energy (ASURE) has been established in NED University in 2019. This centre was inaugurated by Honorable Sindh Energy Minister, Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh. The scope of the centre is to do research, consultancy and testing facility to industry, government organizations, R&D organizations and others. This centre will provide the pv panels testing, battery test

ing, inverter testing, generator testing, energy audit, deployment of solar, wind and other renewable energy sources in Sindh as well as in Pakistan spanning various market segments. This centre will also provide consultancy service to the consumer and industry.
