Corporate Social Responsibility
The Company has a culture and history of undertaking social and philanthropic activities. This reflects the commitment of its sponsors towards social uplift, educational and other activities of social obligations required for the betterment of the community and environment in which it is growing. The Company regularly supports The Citizen Foundation (TCF) and works with TCF to improve and monitor quality of education and gender participation. The company sponsored and maintains Riaz Tata Campus at TCF, Korangi area Karachi with 1,268 student beneficiaries. Further, the Company to achieve this noble cause has recently sponsored the construction of a new “Nargis Riaz Tata” campus at TCF. The campus is situated at Makli Thatta, a rural area in the province of Sindh. The Company is also involved in regularly supporting other organizations and hospitals to enable them to spread quality education and to improve the standards of human health by donating regular contributions to them.
