📢 PTI Protest Sparks Major Traffic Chaos in Karachi
On Wednesday, a PTI protest near Karachi Press Club and Fawara Chowk — marking three years of Imran Khan’s imprisonment and demanding his release — led to road closures and severe traffic disruptions.
Key areas including Saddar, MA Jinnah Road, Governor House, Metropole and surrounding roads remained choked for hours. Police used tear gas and made several arrests, including PTI Sindh leader Dr Masroor Sial.
Commuters faced long delays during evening rush. Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah has directed authorities to clear the roads immediately.

Heavy Traffic Disruptions in Karachi Today

🚨 Serious Incident in Karachi
During a snap checking near Darakhshan police station, four police officers allegedly took a citizen on a forced drive around different roads after stopping him. The citizen claims he was released only after paying Rs50,000.
Police have taken swift action: 4 officers suspended and an inquiry ordered.

Tragic Incident in Baldia Town, Karachi
In a shocking case from Gulshan Ghazi, Baldia Town, a father has confessed to beating his 17-year-old son to death. According to police, the boy had been missing for 6-7 days. When he returned home, the father tied him to a cot and subjected him to severe torture, resulting in his death.
The father claimed the son was involved in drugs and wrong activities. Police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
