After waterproofing the swimming pool and deck area of the Centrepoint Tower in Karachi, Pakistan with Aquafin 2K/M on the 26th floor. The water ponding test is being conducted in the images below before finishing works can commence.

Aquafin Pakistan would like to introduce a new water stop for non-movement construction joints. The metal plate water stop is made with a heavy gauge GI sheet which is treated with an active corrosion-resistant coating and further protected by a flexible cementitious ribbed coating with active crystalline matter to provide self-healing anchoring to the concrete structure.

The six-inch-wide water stop is easy to install both before or right after the concrete pour. With water pressure resistance over 5 bar, this is a fail-safe product for all kinds of joint protection situations both in Horizontal and Vertical construction.
