We (the admins) proudly with the approval of the Dean (Dr Ather Mehboob) of DHA SUFFA university (DSU) introduce the origination of a new society known as the IRON society. INTRODUCTION:
This is the freshman year for science programs offered at DSU, thus currently there is no society particularly to cater the needs of the engineering departments. This society would involve all the departments of t
he DSU especially the departments of CS, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. IRON would be hospitable to students belonging to any of the degree programs offered at DSU. IRON comprises of a "developer's side" that would mainly focus on developing projects in the field of robotics. Thus, this side would, in turn, include the programming and simulation techniques and ideas for the electrical designing and the mechanical systems in the process. Thereby, the CS, ME and EE department students will be encouraged to join. The other branch of IRON would be the "general branch". This would include the general and event management area of IRON. Therefore, the students of the business program at DSU will also get a chance to get involved,enhance their learning skills and eventually contribute for the prosperity of IRON. Furthermore, Engineers and Computer Science students will also get chances to develop skills like management, marketing, public dealing and public speaking which are the basic requirements for all professions along with technical expertise in the real world. OBJECTIVE:
To make students gain valuable experience in activities ranging from the engineering of the robots to financial management and most importantly, real-world application of their education. We will be committed to further promoting the educational impact of IRON by organizing lectures, events and seminars pertaining to university research and the robotics industry as a whole.
