With diversification objective in view, Pak Hy-Oils Ltd. made a decision to obtain technical expertise and import most modern state-of-the-art manufacturing plant of modified bituminous membrane (MBM) for waterproofing from one of the largest and most successful manufacturers of roofing and construction-based products and plants in the world, M/s HERAKLITH CONSULTING & ENGINEERING Gmbh of Austria. PHOL being the leading producer of industrial grades of Asphalts in the country, having capabilities, capacities, basic infrastructure facilities and expertise had selected to locally manufacture the modified bituminous membrane under the name of Hy-Grip, for waterproofing, damp proofing of civil structure, buildings, godowns and canal lining etc.
The Hy-Grip Membrane Product Range:
Hy-Grip modified bituminous membranes are manufactured to the highest level of international quality standards and are offered for a variety of applications. Hy-Grip membranes are manufactured for roofs, re-roofing, accessible and non-accessible roofs, car parking decks and a variety of other applications both in the domestic and industrial sectors.
Hy-Grip Package:
Hy-Grip roofing systems contain a quality package. Finest raw materials are used in the manufacturing of modified bitumen membrane. In both the SBS (styrene butadiene styrene) and APP (atactic polypropylene) systems, the tough re-enforcing base of both the capping sheets and the underlayers is coated with the new generation of polymer modified bitumen. The flexibility of the membranes is maintained at temperatures as low as-15°C for APP and as low as35°C for SBS.
