Application Ducon Condensate Power (DCP) Pumps over Electrical Centrifugal Pumps:

Condensate is at temperature of 99 ̊C to 100 ̊C and electrical centrifugal Pumps cannot handle more than 80 ̊C unless there are specifically ordered for 105 ̊C. Electrical centrifugal pumps have Impellers with solts which take in water inside each slot to pump or centrifuge.
The condensate temperature above 84 ̊C forms into flash steam that implodes inside these slots of the Impeller of the centrifugal pumps chipping them during pumping phases creating pump cavitation. This then damages the pump so 90% times condensate is cooled below 80 ̊C. Cooling condensate increases fuel consumption at boilers for a drop of every 6C= 1% excess use of fuel.
Then there are other issues with electrical pumps: motor, shaft, couplings, tanks, level probes, control panel etc. Anything fails the pumping fails and condensate drained to waste. Cold water taken to generate steam then waste 12% fuel heating to steam temperature.

The Ducon Condensate Power (DCP) Pump is NON Electrical. It has only a mechanical Float Assembly and operates with steam (@ 2 kg steam /1000 Litres pumped) or compressed air steam
(@ 5 cfm air /1000 Litres pumped).
No impeller, shaft, motor, coupling, level probes, control panel etc., and handles 100 ̊C condensate temperature.
Pumps when there is condensate and stops when there is none. A “ fit and forget “ skid-mounted packaged unit consuming 90% less energy Vs electrical. This is why they work 9-12 years before coming for replacement parts.

All Ducon Condensate Power (DCP) Pumps warranted 8 years ( 1 year Operational money back + Life time 7 years) on dictated terms & conditions.
Till date 90+ pumps in operation only 6 came for repairs after 9-12 years.
