Meeting Between Superior Group and Hexing Electrical Group: Strengthening China-Pakistan [Energy] Cooperation for Economic Growth________
During a meeting with Mr. Zhu Liangzhang chairman Hexing Electrical Group of companies from one of the top three Chinese power control groups, the Managing Director of the Superior Group, Ch. Abdul Khaliq, articulated his vision of transforming Pakistan into an economic superpower through enhanced China-Pakistan economic cooperation, especially in the sectors of energy and infrastructure.
Mr. Zhu highlighted the deep-rooted friendship between China and Pakistan, describing it as a model for other nations. He noted that the relationship between China and Pakistan transcends mere economic cooperation, encompassing a profound bond between the peoples of both countries. Mr. Zhu also visited several key institutions under the Superior Group, including hospitals, and Supèrior university He expressed high praise for the Superior Group’s outstanding performance across various sectors and expressed optimism about the prospects for future collaboration in multiple areas.
In his address, Mr. Khaliq emphasized that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is crucial for Pakistan’s economic development. He noted that through the implementation of modernized power control systems and renewable energy projects, Pakistan has the potential to become a significant economic entity in the region. He further underscored the necessity of cooperation in the power and energy sectors, stating that this is a vital step toward achieving the nation’s economic growth objectives.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in detailed discussions on how to drive Pakistan’s industrial development through efficient power projects, aiming to meet international standards. Mr. Zhu commended the Superior Group for its leadership role in advancing Pakistan’s power sector and pledged continued support for projects that contribute to the mutual prosperity of both nations.
