🤝 The Lie-Størmer Center and CIMPA are joining forces to offer an exceptional opportunity to young researchers in mathematics from developing countries!

📅 From September to October 2025

👉 Programme highlights:
Part I
📚 Online course – "Mathematical Bases for Data, Coding and Cryptography" led by Cordian Riener (UiT The Arctic University of Norway), with guest lecturers from partner institutions.
💬 Live and recorded Q&A sessions.

Part II
🔍 Research activities in Norway – One month at the Lie-Størmer Center, including group work and a 1-week autumn school in Tromsø.

💰 Financial Support
Around 10 participants will be selected for the online part. Among them, 2 laureates will be invited to Norway for a 1-month research stay.

Covered expenses:
💻 Internet connection – 🎫 Airfare & visa – 🏠 Accommodation – 🍽️ Meals & other costs.

⚠️ Eligibility:
Applicants must be ≤ 36 years old or have graduated within the last 5 years, and be based in a country on the IMU developing countries list.
