What does DoD mean when choosing a solar battery? 🔋

DoD (Depth of Discharge) tells you how much of a battery's stored energy has been discharged during a cycle.

For example, 80% DoD means 80% of the battery's usable capacity has been discharged.

When comparing solar batteries, don't look at capacity alone. Consider DoD, cycle life, battery chemistry and the manufacturer's specifications together.
