One major issue we keep facing in Pakistan’s solar market is this: projects are decided only on cost. Whoever gives the lowest price gets the job. And because of that, many EPC companies skip proper IEC standards, correct cable sizing, protection design, grounding, and quality components.
Clients feel they are saving money, but in reality they’re compromising performance, reliability, and safety.

And the result?
Systems fail early, production drops, warranties get rejected, and the overall trust in solar decreases. Cheap projects give short-term comfort but long-term losses — for both the client and the EPC.
This cycle is hurting our industry.

Clients should evaluate quality + standards + engineering depth, not price alone.
EPCs should deliver proper IEC-based work because that is what builds a secure future, repeat projects, and real credibility.
