Exciting News: Semifinalist in the Archstorming Nepal School Project!

We and are honored to share that our proposal, “Tectonic Resilience,”has been shortlisted among the semifinalists in this global competition to design a disaster-resilient school for Nepal.

Combining hybrid steel-earthquake frames, passive climate strategies, and community-centric spaces, our vision rethinks resilience through architecture that’s both technically robust and culturally rooted.

A huge thanks to the jury at , our collaborators, and everyone who supported this journey. Being selected among such inspiring projects is a humbling reminder of architecture’s power to rebuild futures.

Onward to the exploration of "Multidisciplinary Sustainability" let’s keep pushing for design that protects, empowers, and endures.

While the challenges in Palestine feel overwhelming, as architects and creatives, we saw this competition as a chance to amplify the resilience of children pursuing education amidst destruction. Schools may be destroyed, but their passion for learning persists—shifting between makeshift spaces, they continue to adapt.

Our design response focuses on locally accessible materials: corrugated sheets, wood pallets, and repurposed tires. The goal was to envision structures that non-technical communities can build themselves, using simple, adaptable techniques. This isn’t about grand solutions, but honoring resourcefulness and hope in the face of adversity.
