پی ای سی کا پہلا محکمانہ ٹیبل ٹینس ٹورنامنٹ 2026 گولڈن جوبلی تقریبات کے تحت اختتام پذیر ہوگیا

اسلام آباد: پاکستان انجینئرنگ کونسل (پی ای سی) نے اپنی گولڈن جوبلی تقریبات کے سلسلے میں، 50 سالہ شاندار خدمات کی تکمیل پر، پہلا محکمانہ ٹیبل ٹینس ٹورنامنٹ 2026 منعقد کیا۔ یہ ٹورنامنٹ چیئرمین پی ای سی، انجینئر وسیم نذیر کی سرپرستی میں 20 سے 22 جنوری 2025 تک منعقد ہوا، جبکہ اختتامی تقریب 23 جنوری کو پی ای سی ہیڈکوارٹرز میں منعقد کی گئی۔ چیئرمین پی ای سی انجینئر وسیم نذیر نے بطور مہمانِ خصوصی تقریب کی رونق بڑھائی، جبکہ رجسٹرار پی ای سی انجینئر خادم حسین بھٹی، شعبہ جاتی سربراہان، سینئر افسران اور ملازمین نے بھی تقریب میں شرکت کی۔

چیئرمین پی ای سی انجینئر وسیم نذیر اور رجسٹرار انجینئر خادم حسین بھٹی نے ٹورنامنٹ کے فاتحین اور رنرز اپ میں شیلڈز اور چیکس تقسیم کیے، جبکہ شرکاء میں اسناد تقسیم کی گئیں۔ مردوں کے مقابلوں میں انجینئر فہد مصطفیٰ، اسسٹنٹ ڈائریکٹر (آئی ٹی ڈیپارٹمنٹ) نے ٹورنامنٹ اپنے نام کیا، جبکہ انجینئر مغیرہ جمال، سائٹ انجینئر (پروجیکٹ مینجمنٹ یونٹ) رنر اپ رہے۔ خواتین کے مقابلوں میں انجینئر ثمر نسیم، اسسٹنٹ رجسٹرار (گلوبل لنکیجز) نے ٹورنامنٹ جیتا، جبکہ انجینئر ردہ ناصر، اسسٹنٹ رجسٹرار، رنر اپ رہیں۔

چیئرمین پی ای سی نے میچ ریفریز انجینئر علی رضا آصف اور انجینئر عمر، نیز آرگنائزنگ ٹیم کے اراکین انجینئر حارث رشید، انجینئر صدف بنگش اور انجینئر حسن کامل میں بھی اسناد اور انعامات تقسیم کیے، جنہوں نے ٹورنامنٹ کے کامیاب انعقاد میں قائدانہ کردار ادا کیا۔

چیئرمین پی ای سی انجینئر وسیم نذیر نے کہا کہ پی ای سی کی گولڈن جوبلی تقریبات کے تحت منعقد ہونے والا یہ اسپورٹس ٹورنامنٹ کونسل کی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ منعقد کیا گیا ہے اور آئندہ اسے ملک بھر میں پی ای سی کے تمام علاقائی دفاتر تک توسیع دی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس اقدام کو انجینئرنگ ہائر ایجوکیشنل اداروں اور نوجوان انجینئرز تک بھی وسعت دی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ پی ای سی انجینئرز کے لیے باقاعدہ کھیلوں کی سرگرمیوں کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ایک منظم اسپورٹس فریم ورک متعارف کرائے گا، جس کا مقصد صلاحیتوں کو نکھارنا اور صحت مند و متوازن طرزِ زندگی کو فروغ دینا ہے۔ پی ای سی کے مطابق، چیئرمین نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ انجینئرز کی اسپورٹس ٹیمیں تیار کی جائیں گی جو قومی سطح کے مقابلوں، بشمول نیشنل گیمز، میں پی ای سی کی نمائندگی کریں، جبکہ طویل المدتی ہدف اولمپکس جیسے بین الاقوامی فورمز میں شرکت ہے۔

Chairman PEC Engr Waseem Nazir Message on Quaid-e-Azam Day
A Call to the Engineers of Pakistan!

ISLAMABAD – On this auspicious day, the Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) pays his deepest respects to the great Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for his unparalleled leadership and the gift of a free homeland.
In remembering the Quaid’s vision for a modern state, the Chairman shared his profound words:

"There is immediate and urgent need for training our people in scientific and technical education in order to build up our future economic life... we should see that our people undertake scientific commerce, trade and particularly, well-planned industries."
— Message to the All Pakistan Educational Conference, Karachi, 27th November 1947
Chairman PEC emphasized the critical role of the engineering community in building a society. He said that wherever you look, you will find Engineering. He reiterated that national development is impossible without quality engineers. They must have strength of character, follow universal ethics, execute tasks with professional excellence, and hard work.

The Chairman’s message to the engineers is to endeavour for quality in every aspect of their professional conduct. To achieve excellence, we engineers, will have to step out of comfort zones. Only then we will be able to reach new horizons. We must also match the blitz of emerging technologies, for time waits for no one.
He concluded by urging all engineers to join hands and support PEC's initiatives so that togather we take the lead in building a new and prosperous Pakistan.
