Job Description:
• Design, modify, and develop a modern, enterprise-grade cloud native platform as a service with a suite of supporting applications and systems
• Reviewing existing system architecture and recommending improvements for having scalable and secure SaaS based products
• Define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives
• Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes
• Help mentor and develop junior members of the team
• Participate in an environment rapidly adopting Agile and DevSecOps practices, adhering to leading practices and collaborating effectively with other technology teams
• Infuse quality of service characteristics, such as security, scalability, manageability and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities.
• Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities
• Conducting system design activities and reviews of detailed application module specifications, classes, objects, methods, and other software components.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Scrutinizing change requests to determine the magnitude of work done and estimating the level of effort.
• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment
Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
