IEEE WEEK

IEEE WEEK IEEE WEEK is an annual event organized by IEEE-NUCES Lahore Student Branch. Students and professionals will bring forth their work and well-known researches.

IEEE is considered as one of the biggest Computer Science and Information Technology extravaganzas in Pakistan. Students will be given a chance to show off their technical skills in our various computer and robotics competitions. There are 42 IEEE student branches in Pakistan. We, IEEE NUCES CHAPTER, have a mega event ‘IEEE Week’ scheduled to be held in FAST UNIVERSITY Lahore on 15th-17th may2015.

IEEE Week 2015 is the premier forum for advances in technology. The event-packed week brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to explore their shared interests in tools, techniques, and technology. We are inviting everyone to participate in IEEE Week by sharing their research, insights, experience, and enthusiasm. The highlighted purposes to organize this event are
• To bring together all the major contributors to science and
technology for the benefit of the participants.
• Enormous opportunity for students to prove their mettle.
• To learn working in teams and manage challenging situations.
• Interact with Industry and make good name of the institution in the market

Hold and Behold! IEEE Nuces WIE is back with another inspirational session on progressing Women's rights and empowering their status quo.
Our diverse range of speakers include Safoora Saleem, who is currently leading WIE IEEE Lahore section and will aim to highlight to the audience the crucial role played by WIE in furthering women empowerment.
Then we will be joined by Ayesha Mubashir, who having diverse experience of five years in national and international projects, will converse more on the foundational significance of startups and their role in a diversified globalized economy we find ourselves amidst.
Lastly we also have Tayyaba Waqqar, who will discuss the pivotal role women must play in the job sector as their job opportunities and struggles in the field will be discussed.
