Established in 2015 by two of Pakistan’s leading energy companies, PITCO and Orient Power, Shams Power has a growing portfolio of solar investments across the Industrial and Commercial sectors in Pakistan. Shams Power is also the first (and to date only) Pakistani company to have received a Distribution License from the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for distributed solar power sales. PITCO has setup over 3,500 MW of power generation to date, and Orient Power owns and operates over 550MW of thermal and solar power plants.
